1. Who we are and what you accept
STRATUM ZERO is an Android game published by Syrzechs Studios (Cristian Vaquero, Spain) ("we", "us"). By installing and playing it, you accept these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not play.
You must be at least 16 years old to play. The game is not directed at children under 16 and they must not use it: when you start, the game asks your age and anyone under 16 cannot continue. Between 16 and 17, purchases have a monthly cap.
2. Your account
- The first time you open the game, a guest account tied to that phone is created.
- You can link it to your Google account so you do not lose it and can play on another phone. If you do not link it and you uninstall the game or change phones, your progress is lost and we cannot recover it.
- To make real-money purchases, your account must be linked to Google.
- Your account is personal: it may not be sold, lent or exchanged for money or anything outside the game.
- The game always needs an internet connection. Your progress is saved on our server.
- You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete account or on the Delete your account page of this same website.
3. Game content and purchases
- Prismas, gold, Pulse, geodes, Gemkin, runes and everything you obtain in the game are digital content granted to you under a personal, limited and revocable licence to use within the game. They are not your property, have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged or refunded, except where the law requires otherwise.
- Real-money purchases are paid to Google Play, under its terms. We never see your card details.
- No refunds. Before every real-money purchase, the game shows this notice: "This is digital content: it reaches your account immediately and is non-refundable." By tapping "Accept and buy" you ask us to deliver it right away and you accept that, once delivered, you lose your right of withdrawal and the purchase is non-refundable. You cannot buy without accepting the notice.
- If Google cancels or refunds a payment, we remove from your account what that purchase delivered (or its equivalent, if you have already spent it).
- Geodes: their contents are random. The odds for each type of geode are shown in the game, under the "?" button next to the price, before you open or buy it.
- No Gemkin or rune is pay-only: what you get from paid geodes and packs can also be earned by playing, just more slowly.
- We may adjust the game (balance, Prisma prices, content, events) to improve it. We never change a geode's odds without updating them in the game first.
4. Conduct
You may not:
- use cheats, third-party programs, bots, mods, emulators to gain an advantage, or otherwise alter the game or its communication with the server;
- exploit bugs instead of reporting them;
- use a player name that is offensive, impersonates someone else or advertises anything;
- sell, buy, share or lend accounts, or trade game content outside the game;
- attack, overload or try to break into our servers;
- copy, decompile or redistribute the game or any part of it (art, music, text, code).
If you break these rules, we may remove anything obtained improperly and suspend or close your account. Except in serious or urgent cases, we will warn you first and you can reply through the contact email.
5. Ownership
The game, its names (STRATUM ZERO, Gemkin and the rest), its art, music, text and code belong to us or to our licensors. These terms give you no rights over them other than to play.
6. Availability and end of service
- The game is an online service: there may be downtime for maintenance or failures. We do what is reasonable to prevent it and to make sure you lose nothing.
- We may shut the game down. If we do, we will announce it in the game and on the website at least 60 days in advance, stop selling Prismas from that announcement and, at shutdown, accounts and game content will cease to exist. Unspent Prismas and other content are not refunded, unless the law requires it.
7. Liability
The game is provided "as is". We are not liable for indirect damages or for losses caused by not linking your account, by problems with your phone or connection, or by third-party services (Google). Nothing here limits the rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived by law.
8. Changes, law and contact
- If we change these terms, we will let you know in the game. If you keep playing, you accept the new terms.
- These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, you may bring a claim before the courts of your place of residence.
